Aviation Paintings

My father was in the RAF during my childhood so naturally aircraft have played a big part in my life. This gallery is a selection of my aircraft paintings, depicted in the environment in which they were designed.

My personal favourite subject is flying boats, which are the most wonderfully evocative aircraft to paint. As a Marine and Aviation artist I am able to combine both sea and sky/landscapes showing the mixture of reflective light and colours bouncing off the water and aircraft.
